Krysta Gonzales is an actor/dancer/performance artist/writer originally from El Paso and Dallas. She studied Experimental Theatre while attending NYU’s Tisch School of Arts, and received a BFA with honors in 2007. In addition to performing and modeling with DiamondGirls Model Management, Krysta serves as a copy-writer and copy-editor for The Diamond Mind, the monthly DGMM newsletter. She is currently a member of Baharat Belly Dance Ensemble and has also worked with the Vortex Repertory Company, the Generic Ensemble Company, and the Royal Pretenders. For fun, she enjoys running races, dancing and listening to Brazilian music, as well as dancing Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Cha Cha Cha, and Hustle. She also maintains a blog and tweets about her experiences as a 20-something in Austin who strives to live a life filled with love, laughter, truth, beauty, art, and cupcakes.
